John 11:1-45
Dear friends in Christ, N’wokafu YESU KRISTO…
Whenever we read the story of Lazarus being raised from the dead, our attention often settles on Lazarus – his death and the miracle that followed. Yet, as remarkable as these events are, we must not overlook one essential truth: Jesus showed up.
The sisters sent word to Him about their brother’s illness: “Master, the one you love is ill.” Jesus received the message, yet He delayed. And when He finally arrived, it seemed He was late – but still, He showed up and was on time.
Beloved, when Jesus arrived at the tomb of Lazarus, life itself had arrived. We must never forget that everything changed because He came.
He told Martha, “I am the resurrection and the life.” He did not say, “I will be.” This means that wherever He is, life is present. He brought life to Lazarus! He opened his grave and brought life to his dead body.
As we pray during this holy season for Jesus to show up in our own lives – having sent our heartfelt petitions to Him – may we also learn to and willingly show up for others in our own small but meaningful ways.
PRAYER
Lord, please show up for me. Amen.

May God bless you.
